The Water System | CROA Mission

The primary purpose of the Columbia Rim Owners Association (CROA) is to provide drinking water to the members of the Association. The State of Washington, Department of Ecology, has granted the Association a Certificate of Water Right to install and maintain wells that access groundwater. This certificate applies to all lands that lie within the boundaries of the CROA and comprises an area of approximately 320 acres. The legal description of Association lands is set forth in the bylaws. All lots are subject to the easements and protective covenants recorded as Klickitat County Auditor's File #165309. Only the association may maintain wells; members are not permitted to dig individual wells. The CROA regularly tests the water it supplies to members, as required by the State of Washington, Department of Health, Division of Drinking Water.
